Ajay Devgn's new release Bholaa has opened its account at the box office with a "decent score" of Rs 11.20 crore, reports trade analyst Taran Adarsh. Bholaa , which released on Ram Navami yesterday, is a remake of 2019 Tamil hit Kaithi , starring Karthi. The Hindi version also stars Tabu, one of Ajay Devgn's most frequent collaborators. Ticket sales for the new release were lower during the morning and afternoon shows on opening day with evening shows compensating. Bholaa needs to perform well on the weekend to clock a "respectable total," Mr Adarsh wrote in his tweet. " Bholaa puts up a decent score on Day 1 (Ram Navami). Healthy footfalls during spot bookings – towards evening shows specifically – compensate for the low turnout in morning + noon shows. Thursday – Rs 11.20 crore. India biz.
